eChemLabs is looking for a talented Agentic AI engineer to join its product team. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team and an industry-leading product whose customers are at the leading edge of scientific innovation. In this role, you will build the key technologies that further the mission of eChemLabs to help our customers develop electrochemical solutions faster! You will use and develop agentic AI systems using modern LLM orchestration frameworks to be used in the eChemLabs platform to build a knowledge graph/agentic system around electrochemical solutions.
This is a remote-first role based in the EU and requires less than 20% travel.
As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will:
- Architect and implement agentic AI systems using modern LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, etc.).
- Lead hands-on development and deployment of GenAI applications (e.g., assistants, copilots, decision support).
- Evaluate and integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, LLaMA, etc.), vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS or similar), and retrieval systems (RAG).
- Optimize agent performance for real-time environments, reliability, scalability, and ethical constraints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions using agent-based paradigms.
- Continuously monitor trends in multi-agent systems, cognitive architectures, and open-source AI frameworks.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to ship new capabilities within the eChemLabs platform
- Communicate regularly with customers to understand their needs and help them successfully use eChemLabs platform and its agentic framework in their day-to-day work
